Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today launched its IDEOS™ X5 smartphone in Pakistan.
The IDEOS™ X5 is a high performance, ultra slim, touch-screen smartphone with advanced browsing and high definition video capabilities based on Android™ 2.2 operating system. Huawei has introduced the availability of its IDEOS™, U8300 and U8500 smartphones in the region, as well as its IDEOS™ S7 Slim Tablet.
The launch of this suite of smart devices positions Huawei to take full advantage of the rapid growth of the smartphone market in the Pakistan and the Middle East which is predicted to grow 39% by 2015 (IDC).
